September 2026 Update: Bulk meal pricing

update

Bulk edit meal pricing, editable canned SMS, actionable alerts, and more.

Bulk edit meal pricing

It's now easier than ever to raise your pricing!

Simply toggle on the Bulk Actions view and filter + select the meals to apply your changes to.

Bulk actions set price

Supports setting to a new price, or adjusting up (or down) by a flat or percentage rate. Makes "every paleo lunch item, up 5%" a couple clicks and a confirm.

Not seeing the Bulk Actions toggle? Enable it first from the Features page:

More actionable alerts

We've added several new email notifications for actionable events:

  • A duplicate order held for review, so a held order isn't sitting there waiting for the customer to phone you about it.
  • Emails for plan renewal failures now use the same plain-language decline wording the customer sees on screen, so you're both reading the same explanation.
  • A notice on a credits usage failure after the card was charged, so you can check the order and fix if needed.
  • Package-type plans have a new missing package alert that names the package type and links the package catalog first, making the fix one click.

BTW, did you know you can change who gets various alert emails on the Company Info page?

Edit your Welcome, Help, and Menu messages

The Messaging admin page has a new place to view (and edit!) the canned SMS replies your site sends — the welcome message, and the automatic replies to HELP and MENU from subscribers.

Messages are validated as you type, for both character cleaning and length, so what you see is what actually sends. No more guessing whether a message will split into two.

When you want to check it out, enable from the Features page:

Did you know you can use the built-in Delivery Confirmation to send delivery emails and texts to customers with a click?

Discounts & Content — stricter enforcement & cleanup

As part of ongoing security hardening efforts, discount parameters are now enforced at additional checkpoints. You likely won't notice a change, as the new re-validations affected barely a handful of customers (less than 1%) — but if someone inquires about their recurring plan price going up, a used-up discount code might be the reason.

Site content is now cleaned both upon save and as it renders — every page, meal description, location, testimonial, blog post, and all editable custom content. Your copy, images, links and normal embeds are untouched — checked, cleaned and validated. This eliminates the risk of an admin copy/pasting something unintended and accidentally breaking a section of your site.

A few other updates...

  • Fast Publish — Settings and content you publish now apply 4x faster (~3 seconds) across all load-balanced site instances, and immediately on your current one.
  • Search boxes handle special characters properly. Searching for text with a dot, hyphen or bracket in it now finds that exact text, instead of erroring or matching everything.
  • The Eat Fresh billing page now lists all your subscriptions, and clearly explains any open issues with your payment method.
  • Plan billing error notifications now match across older and newer plan versions, so the same failure reads the same way wherever you see it.
  • If you're using the Gifts Feature, and have set alternative wording — the override terms you set are now used consistently across the admin.
  • Customer meal plan dashboard filters got a general improvement pass.
  • The Eat Fresh Tech Terms of Service has a new section covering the Data API.
