Delivery Routing
If you haven't tried out the built-in delivery routing yet, might be time to! Several enhancements recently landed:
- Better stop clustering for large delivery areas
- Optimize based on driver end state, not just start location
- 1-click move stops to another driver
- Swap stops within a route
- Kitchen Pickups print sheet
- Driver Tips print sheet, with breakdown by driver, stop, and even split totals
Many more built-in features as well — print sheets by driver with stop/customer/order info and checkoffs, full-screen mode for easier viewing and fine-tuning, text/csv exports, and more!
New Plan Self-Serve Option
There's a new self-serve Finalize Now option. Customers can charge and place a pending plan order from the account page any time before the grace window ends. Enables self-resolution when a billing failure has parked an order, and also useful for customers that want to be done with the ordering process early.
The new option is off by default — ask us if you want to enable for your site!
Billing Holds — New! After a failed payment, customers are now placed on a billing hold. Automatic renewals and payment-required order finalizations pause — and holds are visible on the customer account page and in user management. Holds are automatically lifted upon updated payment info or successful payment.
Limited Quantity
Using the limited quantity feature and need to place an internal order without affecting your inventory levels? A new admin overrides section lets you bypass the limited-quantity restrictions when you need to. The override is recorded on the order.
Limited-quantity items can now use a short reservation hold at checkout (~15 minutes) so two customers can't claim the last of something at the same time. Enable this by feature flag (it's off by default) if you need limited quantity strictly enforced.
Order confirmation also shows a low-stock warning when remaining quantity is 10 or less.
A few other updates...
- New accounting role for financial and operational reports and exports — sales totals, meal totals, royalties, churn, customer data export. Managers and above can assign it.
- Week-grouped menu schedules now support per-meal day and time cutoffs, so each meal on a week can close at its own time
- New Daily Prep Report for week-grouped menus — per delivery day, the meal counts plus side and fruit counts your kitchen needs
- Menu schedule chips were redesigned, and the upcoming menu tabs now handle edge cases correctly
- Your billing page now shows payment-due detail, and the admin dashboard shows a banner when auto-pay is off or a payment is due
- Credits balance on the customer account page now reads live instead of from a cached value
- Address forms standardized across account, billing, and gift checkout; gift recipient addresses are now validated and geocoded when entered
- Clearer repeat-order, sold-out, and voucher/gift-card billing error messages
- Performance fix for totals on the By Menu report, and report order counts are now correct when a schedule filter is applied
- A blocked or inactive recipient on a bulk abandoned-cart send now skips that recipient instead of stopping the send
- Mobile admin fixes, including the iOS/Safari input zoom, plus faster admin dashboard startup
