Site "from" email updates

new

We've completed updating email sending addresses for all Eat•Fresh sites.

These changes were made to standardize how we send emails and to comply with new regulations being enforced by major email providers like Gmail and Yahoo. For more on this, see our blog article.

✅ This affects all emails sent through your Eat•Fresh site (including order notifications, password resets, plan renewals, delivery confirmations, and more).

❌ It does not affect emails you may send with an external service like Mailchimp.

What's changed?

1) If you have a "Mini" site on one of our domains (e.g. yourbusiness.localfresh.store)

Your "from" address has been updated with this format:

bot@[yourbusiness].localfresh.store

2) If you have a Custom Domain hosted and/or managed by Eat Fresh Tech

Your "from" address has been updated with this format:

bot@[yourdomain.com]

3) Other changes

The name shown will be either "[Your 3-4 Letter Abbreviation] Bot" or "[Your Business Name]," depending on how it was set before. e.g. this could be "FMP Bot" or "Fresh Meal Prep."

The reply-to address is set to your support email, same as whatever it was before.

Want to use your custom domain?

If you have a Mini site, but would like to use your main domain for emails sent from the site, that is still possible. This option requires the domain to be managed by Eat Fresh Tech, and is included for free on the Standard plan.
